This Privacy Policy describes how PortaPotty Log ("we", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when sanitation technicians, service operators, and administrators use our mobile and web applications.

1. Information We Collect

To provide reliable portable sanitation servicing, proof of service, and field compliance, we collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Technician name, email address, company or branch affiliation, and authentication credentials managed securely via Supabase.
• Service Log Data: Toilet unit identification codes, client account names, site addresses, service timestamps, checklist completions (waste pumping, blue chemical recharging, power washing, supplies restocked), cleanliness ratings, and maintenance notes.
• Location & Geotags: Geographic coordinates (latitude, longitude, and accuracy) acquired when a technician records a service log, for the sole purpose of verifying on-site service delivery and geofenced client audit trails.
• Photographic Records: Before and after service photos, damage documentation photos, and customer digital signatures recorded during service execution.
• Offline Local Storage: Service logs and cached directory data stored locally in your device's SQLite/IndexedDB storage to support offline operations in rural or low-connectivity environments.

2. How We Use Your Information

We utilize the collected information strictly for service operations, including:

• Creating verifiable, timestamped records of portable sanitation maintenance.
• Generating digital PDF service receipts and invoices for commercial clients and contractors.
• Syncing offline logs with cloud database infrastructure once an internet connection is established.
• Optimizing route management and maintenance scheduling across serviced sanitation assets.
• Ensuring platform security, fraud prevention, and regulatory health standard compliance.

3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Service Providers

We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal or operational data. Information is only shared with trusted service providers essential for application functionality:

• Supabase: Cloud database, secure authentication, and encrypted object storage for photo logs and service receipts.
• Cloudflare Pages: Content delivery network and static hosting infrastructure.
• Mapping Providers (Apple Maps / Google Maps): Location query coordinates to facilitate technician navigation to client job sites.

4. Data Storage and Security

We enforce industry-standard security measures, including Row-Level Security (RLS) policies on database tables, HTTPS transport layer security (TLS 1.3), and encrypted credential storage. Photos and sensitive documents are saved in private buckets accessible only by authenticated technicians belonging to the authorized organization.

5. Data Retention & Your Rights

Service logs and associated receipts are maintained for compliance and warranty purposes as long as your organization maintains an active account. You may request account access, data correction, or full data deletion by contacting your organization's administrator or reaching out to us directly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect modifications in our service practices or legal requirements. Any revisions will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
