PortaPotty Log Terms of Service

Welcome to PortaPotty Log ("Application", "Service", or "we"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our field service management application, websites, and associated digital services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading, logging into, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue using the Application immediately.

2. Description of Service

PortaPotty Log is a dedicated field operations tool designed for portable sanitation operators, technicians, and dispatchers. Key features include:

• Service log recording with checklist verification (waste pumping, blue chemical recharging, power washing, and restocking).
• QR code unit scanning and site asset management.
• Automated GPS geotagging for proof-of-presence and verifiable service history.
• Before and after condition photo logging and damage documentation.
• Instant PDF service receipt generation and client dispatch tracking.
• Full offline support with background synchronization upon network reconnection.

3. User Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or security breach. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these terms.

4. Permitted Use & Conduct

You agree to use the Application only for lawful business operations related to portable sanitation and facility maintenance. You shall not:

• Falsify service verification data, GPS geotags, or photographic documentation.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Application.
• Interfere with, damage, or compromise the integrity of our cloud infrastructure or offline databases.
• Upload malicious code, harmful assets, or inappropriate content through photo logging or note fields.

5. Service Verification & Liability

The Application serves as a recording and verification tool for physical field services performed by technicians. While the Application provides timestamping, photographic proof, and geotag tracking, the operational execution, sanitation quality, and adherence to environmental and municipal disposal regulations remain the sole responsibility of the service provider and technician.

6. Intellectual Property

The Application, including its interface, logos, graphics, source code, and documentation, is the exclusive property of PortaPotty Log and its licensors. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties regarding uninterrupted or error-free operation, particularly in remote field environments with variable cellular reception, though our offline caching architecture is designed to minimize disruption. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be indicated with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
